A solution of metadata management oriented the integration of networks management is proposed after the discussion of data integration in the platform of integrated networks management. The architecture of management in this solution utilizes the model driven technology, and introduces a kind of formalized method to describe metadata in the networks management system. On the abstract meta-model view, the solution eliminates ＂the information isolated island＂ between the different specialized networks management subsystem. Finally the mechanism and theory of metadata exchange is analyzed, and the design proposal and implementation of metadata exchange in this platform is presented, including mapping model to the Java interface.
