为实现光电振荡器(OEO)输出频率的连续可调,提出一种新型的基于非线性色散补偿光栅(FBG)实现可调谐OEO方案。本文方案不需要电滤波器,且振荡频率随着光源的波长变化而变化。其中,三阶色散补偿FBG可以采用FBG重构算法设计。当光源波长从1550.6nm变化到1551.4nm时,相应的色散为340~1460ps/nm,输出频率的调谐范围为6.5~13.5GHz,实现了振荡频率的大范围可调谐。
An optically tunable optoelectronic oscillator (OEO) by tuning the wavelength without any e- lectronic microwave filter is proposed and demonstrated to obtain continually tunable output frequency. The oscillating microwave is determined by the wavelength, the tunability of frequency is realized by a three-order dispersion-compensating fiber Bragg grating (FBG), and it is designed by the FBG reconstruction method. When the wavelength of input signal changes from 1550.6 nm to 1551.4 nm,the dispersion will change from 340 ps/nrn to 1460 ps / nm , As a result , the output frequency changes from 6.5 GHz to 13.5 GHz,and the tunable range is large.
