本研究调查了187名中国非英语专业大学生的学习风格特点,学习风格对英语学习成绩及学习者学习策略选择的影响。结果发现:(1)被试者整体偏于内倾,属于感觉和判断型;(2)学习风格并不对英语学习成绩产生直接影响或该影响甚微;(3)学习者的学习风格对其策略选择产生显著影响;(4)判断型学习风格与学习风格及包括元认知策略在内的7种学习策略呈显著的正相关关系,有可能该学习风格是通过影响学习者的策略选择来影响学习成绩的。
The present study set out to investigate the relationships among learning styles,learning strategies and language learning outcomes in the EFL context in China,in particular,the issues of whether the individuals’ learning styles influence their language learning outcomes and how the individuals’ learning styles affect their learning strategy choices.The results indicate that learning styles have a signifi cant influence on learners’ learning strategy choices and may influence language learning outcomes through its relationship with learning strategies.The educational implications of these findings for foreign language teaching and learning are discussed,as are suggestions for future research.
