8 Monitoring stations have been established by the World Tourism Organization, and each station has its own emphasis on the content of monitoring. Except for the active significances in the first monitoring report, there are still some problems in the following aspects, such as the ethics of data, inadequate monitoring of inbound and outbound tourism, inadequate monitoring of the themes of the times, the expansion of physical content and technical methods. This paper also looks forward to the future monitoring work from such perspectives as enhancing philosophy thinking, reinforcing monitoring and availing of high-end think tank to guide the further monitoring and smart collaboration.
