利用紫外诱变技术,对海南本地淡水水域筛选得到的小球藻Y019进行诱变,得到1100株诱变株。以HSM培养基和HSM氮缺乏培养基分别进行筛选,筛选出M37和M67两个高含油量株系。与野生型小球藻Y019相比,其相对生长速率没有明显变化,油脂含量分别提高了24.58%、17.88%,具有良好的开发应用前景。
Continued use of petroleum fuel is widely recognized as unsustainable because of its scarce supply and the accumulation of carbon dioxide in the air from it.Scientist are looking for renewable,carbon neutral fuels.Biodiesel is a potential alternative to petroleum fuel.Microalgae appear to be one of the best sources of renewable biodiesel that is capable of meeting the global fuel demand.Chlorella vulgaris Y019 which was obtained from freshwater in Haikou was irradiated by ultraviolet and 2 petroliferous mutants named M37 and M67 cultured in HSM medium and N-deficiency HSM medium,were obtained from the 1 100 strains.Compared with the parent strain,the triolein of mutants M37 and M67 increased by 24.58% and 17.88%,respectively.They may be potential strains for producing microalgae biodiesel.
