Sandwich teaching is a teaching method which is based on the discussion and independent learning of students. Aimed to train the ability of autonomous learning and innovative thinking of medical students,this paper shares the experience in application of Sandwich teaching method in physiology in Huazhong University of Science and Technology,especially on how to well design and compile a Sandwich teaching plan for the neuroregulation of cardiovascular activity.
