SARS papers covered in SCI from 2003 to 2007 were searched from PubMed database. Changes in the number of annual SARS papers, distribution of countries and regions, and main productive research institutes were analyzed. The distribution rule, current research status and developing trend were discussed in order to provide certain reference for the related study on SARS.
