To give home router the ability of remote control and data storage,a remote storage management system based on the encryption message channel of smart router was presented.An API framework based on HTTP protocol,storage management subsystem,downloader management subsystem and data access channel were designed.The ability of controlling the router remotely,managing external storage device and offline download tasks and accessing storage devices and data via internet were realized.Results of test with mobile client show that the API calls are stable and fast,the storage device management and data access are easy to use,the system has strong scalability.
