21世纪是生命科学迅猛发展的时代,基因工程技术则是引领生命科学发展潮流的重要应用性学科,已经渗透到医药、农林牧渔等诸多生命科学相关领域。中医药是我国伟大的药物资源与文化瑰宝,实现中医药现代化是科技兴国,呵护人类健康的重要目标与任务。如何在中药学学生中开设基因工程课是机遇与挑战并存的教学研究新课题。笔者结合多年教学实践与经验,总结了中医药类学生思维特点,有针对性地丰富教学内容、激发学生学习兴趣、活跃课堂学习气氛、促进教与学的互动、利用有限的科研资源使学生理论与实践相结合、改革成绩考核评价标准等,在实际教学实践中取得了较好的成绩。最终提出建立适应于中医药特色的基因工程教学体系的观点供同行借鉴。
The technology of life science grows rapidly in the 21"t century, and the genetic engineering, however, leads the trend of life science as a very fundamental and important discipline. In the last several decades, this subject has increasingly expanded its research interest into medicine, farming, forestry, fishery as well as animal husbandry. Traditional Chinese Medicine holds the great medicinal resources and greatly contributes to Chinese culture. Currently, the modernization and standardization of TCM has become one of curprimarily objectives to rejuvenate our country through science and education, and to improve the health of human beings. How to better introduce the course of genetic engineering to students majoring in TCM has been developed into a meaningful, but also challenging task for teachers. With years of teaching experience in this course, the author described in this study a variety of strategies that he has developed to improve the quality of teaching, such as performing in depth analysis of the thinking habit of students, enriching the teaching materials, stimulating the learning interest, invigorating the class atmosphere, promoting the interaction between students and teacher, and changing the evaluation standard. As a result, these strategies have been proven to be effective in the teaching. Finally, the author proposed that in order to better improve the teaching quality of genetic engineering, the teacher has to try his best to fit this course within the acceptable capability for students majoring in TCM.
