This paper selects 2008 - 2013 Chinese bank overseas M ＆A data, profoundly analyzes the internal reasons, external reasons and other reasons, systematically sees the problems of Chinese bank overseas merger, and points out that in the next step, the Chinese bank overseas M ＆A should choose acquisition targets carefully, pay attention to integration, focus on emerging markets, grasp the acquisition time and improve the system environment, so that to promote the Chinese banks overseas M ＆A.
