全球变化研究进展和面临的挑战及应对策略

全球变化是地球系统演化过程的客观事实,已成为当前地球科学研究所关注的热点问题之一。通过回顾全球变化研究主要进展和中国学者在全球变化研究中做出的重要贡献,对全球变化的适应研究进行论述,指出全球变化及其适应研究面临的挑战主要来自地球系统的复杂性,并提出应对策略:在空间尺度上,采用整体观研究方法;在时间尺度上,使长短时间尺度的环境研究相结合;在人地关系方面,使全球环境变化对人类的影响研究和社会经济活动对全球变化的适应研究相结合。

英文摘要:

Currently, human beings are confronted with many serious global environmental problems than ever, such as greenhouse effect, global warming, increase of sea level, sharp growth of population, land desertification, sharp reduction of forest areas, rapid depopulation of biological species, shortage of water resources, destruction of ozonosphere, reduction of atmospheric oxidation, environmental degeneration, frequent occurrence of natural disasters, etc. After the scientists in the world make great efforts in global environmental science for more than 20 years, it is understood that the impacts of regional human activities are global, so global environmental change is an impersonality fact of the earth system evolution, and has become as a major focus in earth scientific research at present. In this paper, some important achievements in global change study are reviewed, especially those achieved by Chinese scientists science recent more than 20 years, and the global change adaptation is dissertated in detail. Moreover, it is pointed out that the challenges confronted with global change science and its adaptation study come mainly from the complexity of the earth system, and some answering strategies and measures are put forward, that is, spatially, we should adopt the holistic and universal investigation methodology, and temporally, we should integrate long-term environmental study with the short-term one; in studying the human-nature relations, we should integrate the effects of global environmental change to human beings with the adaptation of social and economic development to global environmental change.
