For the search task of phased array radar,the cuing information is used to confirm the search region and beam position arrangement,and the model of minimum target discovering time is built based on target＇s appearance probability.So the corresponding optimal search data rate for single target is get.Simulation results prove that this method provides better search performance compared to the traditional sequentially scanning strategy.
