LI Jian male, he was born in Baoji,Shaanxi, China, in 1971. He received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Electrical Engi- neering in 1997 and 2001, respectively from Chongqing University, Chongqing, China. He is currently a professor ,and the head of I tigh Voltage and Insulation Technology Depart- ment at Chongqing University. l lis major research interests include online detcction of insulation condition in electrical devices, partial discharges, and insulation fault diagnosis for high voltage equipment, environmcnt-fisendly insulating liquid, anti-icing coating of insulator and transmission line, and polyethylene/organic-montmorillonile nano-composites. He is an author and co-author of more than 50 journal papers and 50 papers published in proceedings of international conferences. He received the B.S. degree in electrical engineering in 2009, from Chongqing University, Chongqing, China. He is currently a persuing master degree in the Elec- trical Engineering College of Chongqing University, Chongq- ing, China. China, in 1978. He received the M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering in 2003 and 2010, respectively from Chongqing University, Chongqing, China.
