中分辨率成像光谱仪(CMODIS)是我国“神舟3号”飞船上对地观测主载荷,是我国第一台上天的具有测量海面叶绿素a浓度能力的成像光谱仪.利用宽视场海洋水色扫描仪(SeaWiFS)反演叶绿素a浓度作为参考值建立CMODIS资料处理模型,得到三个基于蓝绿波段比值法的叶绿素a浓度反演算法,平均相对误差分别为26.6%,24%和33.5%,均方根误差分别为1.16,1.15和1.23mg/m^2.在叶绿素a浓度反演误差允许范围小于35%的条件下,比值算法的适用范围为悬浮泥沙浓度小于5g/m^2的海区.悬浮泥沙的强散射作用导致比值算法在高悬浮泥沙浓度条件下产生高估叶绿素a浓度反演值的现象;在中低悬浮泥沙浓度的海区,悬浮泥沙和浮游植物对离水辐亮度的综合作用使比值算法存在低估叶绿素a浓度的趋势。

Several models have been developed for chlorophyll-a concentration retrieval from Chinese moderate resolution imaging spectrometer (CMODIS) data. The CMODIS was launched on Shenzhou No. 3 spaceship on 25 March 2002. It has 30 visible channels and four infrared channels, much are different from other ocean color sensors. A series of algorithms need to be developed to process the CMODIS data. The development of new algorithms needs enough in situ data,and it is very difficult to simultaneously collect a large number of in situ measurements to establish the models. A practical and economic approach is proposed by using valid data being measured by sea-viewing wide field-of-view sensor (SeaWiFS) to develop new algorithms for the CMODIS. Three models were developed for processing the CMODIS data with the average relative error of 26.6%, 24.0% and 33.5%, respectively. The validation of the models is analyzed using some in-situ measurements. Suspended sediment is the main factor influencing the accuracy of the models. The models are suitable to retrieving chlorophyll-a under a suspended sediment concentration less than 5 g/m^3. The high concentration of suspended sediment leads to overestimate a chlorophyll-a concentration using the spectral bands ratio algorithms. When the concentration of suspended sediment is between 2 and 5 g/m^3 , the algorithms will derive the chlorophyll-a concentration with lower values. Since the accuracy of chlorophyll-a concentration in Case Ⅱ waters by the ratio algorithms is limited, it is necessary to develop some semi-analytical models to improve the performance of satellite ocean color remote sensing in the coastal regions. This approach can also be used to develop the algorithms of Chinese ocean color and temperature sensor (COCTS) on the satellite Haiyang No. 1 to derive the chlorophyll-a concentration distribution.
