采用磷酸钛氧铷(RTP)电光偏转器作为调Q开关,实现了连续激光二极管(LD)端面抽运Nd:YVO4的激光调Q运转。实验研究了输出耦合镜透射率不同、重复频率不同时激光器调Q的输出特性。当输出耦合镜透射率为60%,在5kHz重复频率运转时,获得了平均输出功率为1.22w、脉冲宽度为1.0ns、峰值功率为244kw的调Q脉冲输出;当重复频率为20kHz时,得到的平均输出功率为2.67W,脉冲宽度为2.2ns,峰值功率为60.7kw,对应斜率效率为37%,光束质量因子Mx2=1.226,My2=1.229。并使用磷酸钛氧钾(KTP)晶体对激光器输出的1064nm激光进行了腔外倍频,获得了重复频率为20kHz、平均输出功率为1.33w的532nm绿光输出,倍频效率为50%。
Using the rubidium oxygen titanium phosphate(RTP)electro-optic deflector as a Q-switch,we realize a continuous wave LD-pumped Q-switched Nd…YVO4laser and study the output characteristics in experiments at different output coupling rates and different repetition rates.An output pulse train of 1.22 Waverage output power with pulse width of 1.0ns and peak power of 224 kW is obtained at the repetition rate of 5kHz and an output coupler with transmittance of 60%.Another out pulse of 2.67 Waverage output power with pulse width of 2.2ns and peak power of 60.7kW is obtained when the repetition rate is 20 kHz,the slope efficiency is 37%,and the beam quality factors are M2x=1.226,M2y=1.229.Further,by extra-cavity double-frequency based on a potassium titanium oxide phosphate(KTP)crystal,agreen laser at 532 nm with repetition rate of 20 kHz and average output power of 1.33 Wis obtained,and the corresponding frequency-doubling efficiency is 50%.
