通过问卷调查．对院士参与创新型国家建设的现状及对创新型国家建设相关问题的态度进行了分析。结果发现．院士的科研工作比较符合创新型国家建设的需要，但研究成果推广有待改进；院士参与政府决策咨询积极性较高．但目前决策咨询的工作机制影响了院士参与政府决策的效果；院士重视人才培养工作，积极带领科研团队建设；院士对科学传播工作重视程度不够．参与热情有待进一步提升。针对调查中发现的问题．对如何推动院士更好的参与创新型国家建设提出了相关的政策建议。

英文摘要：

Based on a questionnaire survey, this paper investigates the situation of how academicians participate ＂ in the construction of the Innovative Nation＂ and their attitudes toward those issues emerged from the construction. The results of the survey discovers that while most of the academicians＂ research work comply with needs of building an innovative nation, the commercialization and diffusion of their research outcomes are still to be improved; while academicians＂ normally exhibit enthusiasms in consulting for public policy making, the effectiveness of their consultation tends to be inhibited by associated institutional arrangements; academicians assume the leading role in research rearn construction while concern more about fostering research talents, but their understanding about the importance of science communication are rather limited and hence restricts their willingness to spread advanced knowledge more effectively. In response, this papers raises policy recommendations to address the problems identified through the survey for a better participation of the academicians in building an innovative nation.
