The BRICS as the new international cooperation platform,have broad prospects in economic and technical cooperation.The establishment and improvement of the BRICS＇s science technology cooperation model and platform,are good for breakthrough western technology barrier,obtain the shortage technical factors from external countries and promote complicated scientific research.Although there are some experience for the science and technology cooperation among the BRICS and technological resources are complementary between five countries,but lack of multilateral cooperation,coordination mechanisms and information platform.The scientific and technological cooperation among the BRICS is government-dominated,mainly characterized by the co-carried international cooperation program on science and technology,program on human resources and the international cooperation on science and technology under the government purchase program.Besides,it calls for the construction of the platform for the scientific and technological cooperation,which involves network platform,service system,talent exchange and guarantee system.China should adopt a correct strategic positioning in the scientific and technological cooperation among the BRICS,actively advocate the platform construction of scientific and technological cooperation,participate in the important fields and program cooperation,and promote the innovative environment and cooperation mechanism.
