Recently with the transformation of management system for urban planning and the wide application of computer technology,revolutionary change has taken place with the information management of urban planning in terms of object,con- tent and organization.An important trend of development in the future is to timely keep pace with the technical development,fully meet the requirement of management and establish an information system, including the ＂manned＂ information system,that takes into consideration the human factor,social and economic development and the system rennovation, etc,.Meanwhile,another important factor to be taken into consideration in the future infomration management is to make use of the management information and make an in-depth study of the data to enhance the theoretical development.
