With the ageing of the society, the incidence of Alzheimer＇s disease（AD） is rising. As a result, severe physical pain and social burden will be brought. In recent years, the role of inflammatory response in AD has been fo- cused on. This article makes a review on the possible mechanisms of astrocytes in the inflammation in AD.
