Application oriented talent is the goal of talent cultivation in local undergraduate universities,and the in- novation ability of university students is the theme of applied talents training. This paper,taking Ningde Normal Uni- versity as an example,discusses the cultivation and promotion of students＇ innovation ability. In view of the present ex- isting problems,put forward some opinions or suggestions to do the work well.
