技术扩散呈S曲线分布已广为共识,但s曲线只从宏观上揭示了技术随时间呈现的扩散规律。伴随着交叉学科的不断涌现,技术跨领域扩散的现象日趋明显,如何从跨领域的视角描述新技术扩散的特征是本文解决的主要问题。本文以专利引用数据为基础,通过对专利技术领域的界定,将专利引用关系转化为跨领域扩散关系,并结合扩散深度和广度指标提出了六种技术扩散特征。然后以石墨烯技术为例,证明了该方法的可行性。基于跨领域视角的新技术扩散特征描述,不仅有助于专利技术拥有者更好地推广研发成果,也有助于指导商业投资者及政府部门为新技术制定研究方向和扶持政策。
There is a common sense that technology diffusion follows a classic S-curve distribution, but the S-curve model has only revealed the overall evolution patterns of technology at the macro level. With the faster pace of technology innovation, cross-disciplinary characteristics of new technology diffusion are becoming increasingly obvious. In this paper, we propose a method to analyze the cross-disciplinary characteristics of new technology diffusion. Based on patent citations and the definition of technology field, we convert patent citation relationships into technology field diffusion relationships. And then depth and breadth indicators are set up to generalize six typical characteristics of new technology diffusion. At last, we conduct graphene technology as a case study. This method is helpful for technology owners to promote the achievement of research and development and guide business investors and government to make policy.
