Romhilt-Estes scoring system is generally applied in diagnosing left ventricular hypertrophy（ LVH） at the very beginning. Definite and suspected LVHs were defined when RE score =4 and ≥5,respectively. In recent years,it indicates by researchers that the Romhilt-Estes scoring system and its components can predict all-cause mortality,sudden cardiac arrest and various cardiovascular diseases. The scoring system is clinically significant for diagnosing and treating cardiovascular diseases in an early phase.
