The reason of low bond strength of the remanufactured engine crankshaft coating was analysed.The spraying process of robot-based automatic high velocity arc spraying system,the methods of remelting coating,the advancing of high velocity arc spraying gun and the designing of composite coating for improving the bond strength of the high velocity arc spraying remanufacturing crankshaft coating are introduced.
