With the establishment of socialism market economic institution and the execution of house as a commodity, under the background of giobalization and information revolution, the sorts of urban community have been evolved and translated constantly. Generally, there are following sorts of community in the big cities in China now, including traditional street community, sole equilibrator community, mixed synthesis community, evolving edge community, real estate oriented estate management community and gathering living area of flowing population etc. On the basis of analyzing the constitute structure and advantages and disadvantages, the new ideas in the construction of modem resident community were referred, they were to do everything considering the needs of mankind, to pay more attention to community culture, to construct open active and intercourse space, the influence of information revolution and societal development viewpoint etc. With the synthesis of existing community developing models and new ideas, we should construct intelligent ecological resident community in the long run. The need of ecology and intelligent life can be satisfied in this community with the connection of information society. The proposal of intelligent ecological resident community was accustomed to the demands of ecological civilization and information revolution, and it was characteristic by intelligent, ecological, coordinate, efficient, the formation of culture regression and the sense of ascription etc. It can nurture common concept of value and life, make residents have the sense of ascription and culture identity, and also it can afford the residents with pleasant, satisfied and comfortable culture community and psyche community.
