Based on the GIS ＆ VR Technology, this paper studies the urban spatial form evolution of the neoteric open cities in north China which can be represented by Tianjin. After analyzing the macro group spatial structure, moderate external spatial form and the micro internal spatial form aspects, a new analytical method has been established in this paper, applied to research on the spatial form evolution track and dynamic mechanism of open cities, and lay a strong foundation for the research of open cites.
