CTCs is the main reason that causes the cancer metastases.The appearance of CTCs in the peripheral blood is related with the metastasis,treatment and prognosis of the breast cancer.This article reviews the CTCs including its concept,detection method and the advantage as a prognosis instruction,also prospects the clinical application of CTCs in the future.
