The domestic development of production process of 300 kt/a vinyl chloride/ PVC from ethylene was introduced. In the process, multicomponent catalytic reaction system for direct chlorination, energy-saving double-effect pressure-swing rectification process of dichloroethane, pyrolysis gas heat recycling process, hot water feeding in polymerization, new-type antiscaling technique and polymerizer inner cooling technique were developed. Through technological optimization, the process software package for production of 300 kt/a vinyl chloride/ PVC was obtained, thus promoting the benign development of PVC industry.
