The new soil and water loss and its damage are predicted about a real estate construction project in South China,using the empirical formula based on analysing soil and water loss partition and forecast period.And it is determinates that spatial and temporal distribution of the new soil and water loss.The results showed that：the disturbance surface area of project construction is 34 998 m2,may result in soil erosion area 34 998 m2 and the grass area of with soil and water conservation functions damaged by the construction 5 000 m2.The total amount of soil erosion in construction period is 516 t,of which the added amount of soil erosion is 476 t,92% of the total amount of soil erosion.The project,as a whole,is relatively flat topography,and soil erosion is not intense,therefore,there is no absolute and strict limiting factors.
