History of Western philosophy is always the focus of curriculum setting as well as the key point of curriculum education for undergraduate philosophy majors, but there are some difficulties in related teaching work, so it is necessary to reform the teaching methods and contents. In order to solve these difficulties, improve the education level of history of philosophy, it is necessary for us to carefully analyze and explore the particularities of the teaching of history of Western philosophy for undergraduate philosophy majors, because only based on this can we work out feasible countermeasures.
