Practically and historically, there is important significance to cultivate and practise the core socialist values in colleges. We must stick to the principles of the combination of value and cultural guidance ; the combination of people-oriented and interactions between teachers and students ; the combination of promote-coordination and classification guidance. We must re-examine the core socialist values from perspective of value reconstruction, path selection and specifically exemplification, thus guiding the identification, cultivation and realization of value system respectively.
