The microstructure evolution rules of semi-solid high carbon T12 steel local remelted at different temperatures and holding different time were studied.The results indicate that the microstructure of semi-solid T12 steel samples is no-dendritic and spherical shapes.With increasing the temperature and holding time of local remelting,both grain sizes and its spherical degree of semi-solid samples increase,and the shape factor value increases up to 1.
