Based on Translation＇s prominent position in teaching for English Major,this paper has studied current situation of translation textbooks for English Major from the perspective of the framework of textbook and voices on textbook from teachers and students,and suggested future translation textbooks should clarify their positioning and users,then implement well the relationship between translation theory and practice.
