Due to the merits of small size and low cost, parallel hybrid electrical Vehicle (PHEV) structure is widely used in HEV system. Halbach motor is a novel permanent magnetic (PM) motor. One-sided and sinusoidal field is produced by the special distribution of permanent magnets. The field can increase the air-gap flux, decrease the rotor yoke flux, which improve power density and efficiency, reduce volume of the motor, High efficiency, high power density and small size accord with hybrid electric vehicle system's need. Insight research was given for hybrid electric vehicle electric-driven system depend on model motor. Experiment results prove the system can work well, super-capacitor can absorb feedback energy, which improves efficiency of the system greatly.
