500 m口径球面射电望远镜具有很高的灵敏度,容易受周边电子设备的电磁干扰。如果干扰超过望远镜的干扰保护门限,导致望远镜观测性能下降。通过在微波暗室内测试平板电脑、数码相机和手机的电磁辐射强度,在台址测试望远镜至综合楼、电子实验室及观景平台之间的传播损耗,评估访客所携带平板电脑等电子设备对望远镜造成的干扰情况。分析结果显示,所选样品设备对望远镜存在不同程度的干扰。这些工作为望远镜运行后的台站电磁干扰管理提供了重要依据。
The Five-hundred-meter Aperture Spherical radio Telescope (FAST) is of high sensitivity. In order to ensure the normal operation of FAST, the study of evaluation on radio interference (RFI) caused by three electronic devices carried by FAST visitor has been carried out. The electromagnetic radiation measurements of the typical iPad, mobile phone and digital camera have been made at the microwave chamber. Moreover, the theoretical calculation and on-site measurements between the main building, laboratory, viewing platform and FAST feed have also been implemented. Combining the measurement results, the evaluation of the level of RFI generated by these three devices shows that the observation of the telescope will be inferred by these kinds of devices more or less. According to the analysis results, the important reference for controlling the Visitor's electronic devices at the FAST site has been provided.
