A formula for the channel capacity of DS-BPSK UWB system over multipath AWGN channel is proposed in case that the orthogonal codes are kept. Both theoretical analysis and numerical simulation indicate that most of the factors affecting the performance of DS-BPSK UWB communication system can be revealed by using the proposed formula, which demonstrates the effectiveness of our formula.
