The PEST - SWOT model was developed and applied on the work of regional medical association to provide evi- dence and reference for its development, its strengths and weaknesses, opportunities and threats were analyzed, and the develop- ment strategies and docking were proposed, including seizing external opportunities to develop their own advantages; strengthening their strengths to reduce external pressure; using external opportunities to overcome their own deficiencies; solving the problems inherent in, and avoiding external threats.
