随着人们对无线多媒体业务的需求越来越高,太赫兹通信逐渐引起人们的关注。太赫兹频段能够提供超高带宽,为支持超高速数据传输提供了可能。目前,SG 100G研究小组正在进行太赫兹频段通信相关标准的制定,根据该研究小组前期研究成果,对太赫兹通信的特点、面临的挑战、应用场景、无线链路模型、相关MAC协议进行了分析归纳,并在最后对太赫兹通信研究方向和发展趋势进行了展望。
Terahertz communications attract more and more attention in recent years with the increasing demand of wireless multimedia services. Terahertz frequency can supply large bandwidth which makes it possible for the ultra-high data transmission. Currently, SG 100 G study group is working on the standard for terahertz communication. Based on the former research results of the study group,this paper make a brief analysis and summary about terahertz communication characteristics,the challenges it faces,application scenarios,modeling for wireless link and related MAC protocols. Finally,future research directions and development tendency for terahertz communication are prospected.
