英文摘要：

Modern social movements are essentially one kind of collective action, taken part by people who are meant to benefit their own good or impact on some specific social changes, by influencing the growing state power. Therefore, the state perspective offers a fine path to a better understanding of social movement theory in an overall view. In this perspective it gives sense to get the theory through by generally literature reviewing the social move- ment study. Furthermore, some reasonable arguments that probably account for the process of ascend, descend and recurrence of the perspective shall be suggested. Thus, both significance and necessity to develop social movement study in China, especially for achieving the national transition, have been self- evident.
