数据是地理信息系统的基础,强大的地理信息分析功能对地图数据有很高的要求。国内外大多数应用型地理信息系统都是基于矢量地图数据格式的。这样的系统在提供便利操作的同时,增加了系统开发成本和开发周期。如果建立基于栅格数据的地理信息系统,不需要数字化编辑处理地图数据,节省了矢量化数据的成本,并且地图显示更为形象、直观。在分析栅格数据和矢量数据的基础上,探讨了基于栅格数据的地理信息系统体系框架,并就基于栅格数据的地理信息系统开发中的基本地图操作、属性查询、地图分析等关键技术进行研究,提出了一些思路和解决办法。同时,将该技术成功应用到军事演习系统中,取得了良好的效果。
Data is the basement of geographic information system (GIS), which is classified into raster and vector data. Currently, most of GIS are based on the vector data model in the world such that they are convenient to operate,but with a rising cost and a long period of development. A raster data-based GIS is developed and operated based on some raster map without vectoring, thus it is more clear and visual. A raster GIS system frame is presented by analyzing these two data model. And some key techniques to develop a raster data-based GIS,such as map operate, attribute query, map analysis,and so on, are solved in this study. At the same time,an application system about war game is developed successfully and effectively based on these techniques of the raster data-based GIS.
