With the experience of clinical practice for forty years, professor Yu Zhiqiang has his advantage in treating chronic gastri- tis. During the past forty years, professor Yu summarized his experience in treating chronic gastritis using the combination of Xiao Xianxiong decoction, Zuo J in decoction, Cuttle-bone and Fritillaria thunbergii Mia powder. With the introduction of a clinical case, this paper reports the thought on differentiation and prescription of Professor Yu in treating chronic gastritis.
