A kind of stripe-like twins were revealed by chemical etching and polarizing microscopy in both KBe2BO3F2(KBBF) and RbBe2BO3F2(RBBF) crystals.The twinning characters were presented and the twinning laws were investigated.The twins were considered to be formed during the crystal growth due to temperature variations.
