Taking the controlled blasting demolition of a 240m high reinforced concrete chimney as an example, this paper introduces the fine design and construction of the process, and from the blasting scheme selection, the optimization of blasting parameters and protective measures against the harmful effect, provides experiences and references for the construction of similar engineering done by the blasting counterparts.
