Cui Xunxue was born in 1969. He received his Ph. D. degree in the University of Science and Technology of China in 2001, and finished his postdoctoral program at the Department of Computer Science and Technology in the Tsinghua University in 2003. He is currently an associate professor in the Department of Information Research of the State Information Center, Bei- jing, China. He received the B. A. degree in automa- tion engineering in 1997 and the Ph. D. degree in computer science in 2002 both from University of Science and Technology Beijing, China. He finished his postdoctoral research in 2004 at the Department of Computer Science and Technology, Tsinghua University, Beijing, China. His current research interests include computer networks, performance evaluation, and Petri nets. He received his master＇s degree in the Hefei Artillery Academy of China in 2004. He is currently an associate professor.
