As a means of describing organic reaction mechanism, curved arrows play an important role in organic chemistry teaching. This paper briefly discusses the use of curved arrows in three different situations. Some errors about the explanation of organic reaction mechanism using curved arrows are analyzed and corrected. Finally, the author＇s teaching experience about curved arrows is simply introduced.
