An advanced readout system fitting for the waveguide muhilayer optical card（WMOC） is introduced in this paper. The hardware mainly consists of WMOC, addressing unit, optical unit, information reading and managing unit, The movement of the motorized stage is controlled precisely by the computer software programmed in Visual Basie（VB）. VB is also used to design a simple control panel through which the position of the motorized stage can be changed very easily. The real-time adjusting of the addressing unit and the optical unit is realized. The total readout system is easy to manage and the reading results are intuitionistic.
