The grain sizes of cobalt-rich nodules located at the international seabed in the West and Central Pacific Ocean were analysed using the fractal theory. The results show that the features of grain sizes have a multi-stage fractal. Their fractal dimensions have been obtained after calculation and its significations are discussed.
