针对IEEE 802.11e中不同优先级数据流所获得的服务相差很大、低优先级数据流获得服务量很少的问题,提出一个可以提高低优先级竞争能力的EDCA改进机制。低优先级数据流在重传m次后使其优先级增加1,并用马尔可夫链模型对此改进机制进行了吞吐量性能分析。通过数学分析和仿真结果的对比,验证了此改进机制可提高总体吞吐量性能。
Research shows that the services of data flows with different priorities vary significantly in IEEE 802.11 e. Low priority data flow obtains less service. By enhancing the competitiveness of low-priority, an improved model for the EDCA is proposed. Low priority data flow is added one priority after m times' retransmission. And throughput performance is analyzed by Markov chain. Both the mathematical analysis and NS simulation demonstrate that the proposed mechanism improve throughput performance.
