White organic light-emitting diodes （OLEDs） have shown potential applications in flat-panel displays and illuminations due to the simple processing, low cost, easy adjustment of emissive wavelength in visible region and flexibility. This paper reviews the various approaches to achieve white OLEDs and their recent progresses, and introduces the fabrication methods of white OLEDs based on our recent work. The existing problems and the trends are also discussed.
