truck dispatching is very important for shovel and truck technology in surface mine. The truck dispatching can be taken as a multivariable optimization problem. The mathematical model of optimization of truck dispatching by time interval is given, the new methods and new characteristics of encoding, chiasma （crossover）, calculation of fitness, elitist strategy, mutation and so on are discussed.
