英文摘要：
This paper chose 648 minimal pairs which has only one difference in the position of two characters to inspect the normal stress model of two-character groups in modern Chinese.It was found that the distri-bution of word stress was the same as the sentence stress they acquired when they were used in sentence .The normal stress model of two-character groups in modern Chinese tends to be left -heavy in general, and the third tone usually dosen＇t get stress.
